Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the attack on a building in Ichhra area of Lahore and expressed his sorrow on the killing of police personnel, mostly hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and who were training to become prison guards. He said that the sacrifices being offered by the armed forces, security forces and the general public against the terrorism would not be wasted as the entire nation was united against the menace of terrorism. He said that the attack on the police personnel was an attack on the security of the country. He further said that the terrorists were the open enemy of the country. He demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Advisor on Interior Affairs Mr Rehman Malik and Chief Minister of the Punjab Mr Shahbaz Sharif to take serious notice of the Ichhra incident. He said that the terrorists should be brought to book and given exemplary punishment.
Altaf Hussain condemns blast outside the venue of the ANP public meeting in Quetta
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast outside the venue of the ANP public meeting in Kuchlak area of Quetta in Balochistan province. He expressed his grief and sorrow on the deaths of the workers of the ANP in the blast and sympathized with the injured people. He said that the terrorist elements involved in the blast want to create instability and unrest in the country. He offered his condolences to the leaders and workers of the ANP and the family members of the people who lost their lives in the blast. He prayed Almighty Allah to rest the people killed the Kuchlak blast in eternal peace. He demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Advisor Mr Rehman Malik and Chief Minister Balochistan to take serious notice of the blast and bring the perpetrator to book.
